Last night the JV team faced Jenison. After the first quarter it was a close game with Jenison up by one. The second period turned out to be the downfall of the match with Jenison scoring four goals, while Zeeland was unable to get one. Zeeland defensively was able to get 14 steals as a team with Brandon Kraai having five of those. Offensively Tucker DeGraaf led the team with two goals. Brandon Johnson also added two and Kaleb DeNeff had a last second hook shot that caught the goalie unaware and scored from eight meters out. In goal Evan Potter had five saves. It was a tough lose to the Wildcats and leaves the team at 0-2 in the district, and 5-5-1 overall.
