The 8th grade girls started strong in the first game and were led by the serving of Kennedy Sliva, great hustle and digs by Marcy Creevy, solid net play by Cat O’Brien and Lily Brower and good defensive plays by Natalie Lay.  Unfortunately, Rockford was too much from behind the serving line and the Dux came up short.  The second & third match, Rockford outplayed the Dux.  …   Our girls learned a lot throughout the season and improved every game. Coach Maynard sends out a huge thank you to all of them for a success season and a big shout out to our manager, Lindsey Houle.

The 7th grade Dux volleyball season came to an end last night with a game against Rockford, but the Dux unfortunately did not pull out the win.  The Dux came out strong in game one with some huge blocks by Tia Martinez and Megan Brink. Thanks to Abby Winn’s strong defense, Alayna Ruch was able to set Emma Hecht up for a beautiful hit!  Mya Anderson and Hannah Van Tuinen put up some hard serves.  Game two, the battle against Rockford continued with Taylor Zwagerman leading her team in serving followed by Alexis Rindfliesch and Lauren Broersma.  Berea Goff, Jasmine Cammenga, and Jocelyn VanderZwaag were all over the court trying to save balls while Heidi Burghardt and Paige Kooyers played a strong front row!
Great season ladies!
