This past week the DUX boys track and field team improved to 4 – 0 in the OK Green Conference with wins over the Dutch (85 – 52) on Tuesday and Hamilton (83 – 54) on Thursday.  Saturday saw the team capture their 8th straight title at the Frank Grimm Relays in Wyoming.  The boys finished with 128 points  by placing 1st in 12 of 14 events and 2nd in 2 others.  Team balance and team depth has been the key to the teams success this season as the team is currently ranked 1st in the state power rankings which ranks the team 3 athletes deep in each event compared to other teams.

This upcoming week the boys will finish up the conference regular season at Holland Christian on Tuesday and Zeeland east at Home on Thursday.  The team will then head to the West Ottawa Relays on Saturday.

If you happen to see Jayk Slager, congratulate him on yet another school record in the disc (166’10”). He is having an excellent season.
