In OK Green soccer action last night, the Dux looked to get their first conference win of the season as they hosted the Golden Hawks of Wyoming Rogers. After a scoreless half, things looked good for the Dux as Joe Castro found the endline and sent a low driven cross to a wide-open David Mora in front of the net, giving the Dux an early 1-0 lead 10 minutes into the second half.Rogerswould tie the game seven minutes later when their center midfield player beat his defender to the inside and drove it low and to the opposite corner. The two teams battled it out over the next 20 minutes, but were unable to capitalize until the final minute when the Golden Hawks scored the game winner off of a cross and half-volley that beat keeper Josh Strube and the Dux defense to the upper right corner with 25 seconds remaining. The loss drops the Dux to 0-3-1 in conference play, and 3-4-3 overall. The Dux continue their home stand againstByronCenteron Wednesday. Strube had 7 saves for the Dux in the defeat.
