Multiple Teams · Girls JV Soccer Wins On The Road At Coopersville

The girls JV soccer team went into Coopersville last night and put together a complete game, dominating possession, dominating defensively and dominating the scoreboard winning 4-0. “In less than ideal conditions, cold 20 mph winds and sideways rain at times, the girls played their most complete game of the year”. Raegina Pung, playing up top with Morghan VanDyke, pulled off the hat trick, finding the back of the net 3 times and Chloe Houser ripped a LEFT FOOTED shot from about 25 yards out that bent just inside the far post. “As the season has progressed we have shifted players into different positions and last night the game really clicked, not just on the scoreboard but in how we defended and how we possessed the ball.”  “We’ve made a few adjustments defensively, Arina Rodriguez moved to center back with Andrea Valdes and Samantha LeFebre has stepped in at outside back, but the defense is as solid and stingy as ever, minimizing the Bronco chances with physical, intelligent defense.”   The Dux will be at home Monday against Hamilton.
