Wednesday, March 7th vs. Grand Haven

The 7th grade girls basketball team won a close game over a tough Grand Haven team last night. The Dux came up with multiple defensive stops in the 4th quarter to protect the lead and win the game. Leading scorers for the Dux were Kenzie Spiitters, Marissa Ybarra, Isabella Cifuentes, Lindy Gulker, and Kara Bartles. Katlin Leva, Danielle Swett, Ella Smith, and Grace Zuber played relentless defense, while Abby Ridlington, Reese Geurink and Natalie Quick dominated the boards. The Dux play again today at home vs Reeths-Puffer.

The 8th grade team lost a tough game to a talented Grand Haven squad.  Leading scorers for the Dux were Tia Martinez, Ali Holman, Anna Girman, Gracie Erdman, and Emma Bussis.  The Dux are in action again at home on Thursday, March 8 as they take on Reeths Puffer.

Thursday, March 8th vs. Reeths-Puffer

The 7th grade girls lost to a talented Reeths-Puffer team last night. Leading scorers for the Dux were Lindy Gulker, Grace Zuber, Reese Geurink, Kenzie Spitters and Kara Bartles. The Dux will be back in action Monday at home vs Grand Haven Lakeshore.

The 8th grade team lost a hard fought battle against a talented Reeths Puffer team.  Leading scorers for the Dux were Mya Anderson, Tia Martinez, Ali Holman, Lindsey Bush, Abby Winn, Anna Girman, Avery Vugteveen, and Taylor Zwagerman.  Cassidy Wiersma and Emily Brands played tenacious defense while Emma Bussis and Gacie Erdmans came in and provided a spark with their hustle.  The Dux are in action at home again on Monday, March 12.
